Stage Field Storm Water Repair
Failure of eroding structures which could allow sediment to possibly migrate into local watersheds and causing large cavities in the soil which could be detrimental to aircraft or rescue and stage field personnel. The Army Corps of Engineers submitted drawings for rock basket designs around structures. BenBeck II, Inc. was awarded the subcontract by Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc.
The scope of work required removal of failing structures and pipe, dewatering, installation of new inlet structures, rock basket construction, compaction of fill material, sloped concrete aprons were constructed and final vegetation was established.
Work was performed with minimal interference with rotary wing training.
