Sloped Landing Erosion Repair

One of the many exercises for rotary wing students in training is landing and takeoff from sloping terrain. Inclement weather caused the slopes to become soft and soon started eroding. A design was put into place using cable concrete mats to stabilize the slopes and withstand repetitive takeoffs and landings.

BenBeck II, Inc. received the subcontract from Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. to construct the first slope reinforcement project in this area. Some minor changes were made to the original design and BenBeck II, Inc. received numerous awards from Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Systems Application and Technologies (SA-TECH) and Calibre Systems, Inc. as a subcontractor, to construct these projects throughout the area at several stage fields.
